General terms of use

These Terms of Use govern the use of the Brandex.ch website and corresponding mobile applications. By registering, the user confirms that he/she has read, understood and accepts these terms of use and the explanations on data protection.

Registration with Brandex.ch

When registering on Brandex.ch or on a corresponding mobile application, the surname, first name, e-mail, company, etc. must be provided. The user assures that the data provided by him/her is truthful. Incomplete or untrue information will result in rejection or deletion of the registration. The user is obliged to keep his login data secret and not to make it accessible to third parties.

Responsibility of the user for the content  

The user undertakes not to violate the Swiss legal system and/or infringe the rights of third parties with his content. Furthermore, the user shall refrain from uploading content that is unobjective or contains advertising or advertising-like content.   

Alpio AG, as operator of Brandex.ch, reserves the right to delete or shorten entries in part or in full or to block the user’s account. 

Copyrights and other rights 

The copyrights and other rights to the website and to the mobile applications and to their content are the exclusive property of Alpio AG, unless otherwise stated.

Complete or partial reproduction, distribution by electronic or other means, modification, linking or use for commercial purposes require the consent of Alpio AG. 

Limitation of liability

Alpio AG does not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of the websites or applications at any time or the complete and correct reproduction of the contents. This applies in particular to the content of users. Alpio AG reserves the right to partially restrict or completely shut down the offers and services at any time without prior notice and to block or deactivate user accounts.

Any liability in this context is fully excluded and any claims by users are excluded.

Changes to the terms of use

Alpio AG reserves the right to amend these terms of use at any time. The amended terms of use shall be communicated to the users by notification at a suitable place on the websites or within the mobile applications. The new version of the Terms of Use shall apply from the date of publication.

Users will also be notified of significant changes by e-mail before they come into force. If a user does not object to the validity of the terms of use within ten days of receiving the e-mail, the amended terms of use shall be deemed accepted.

Data protection

For various services on our website, you provide us with personal information (name, address, e-mail address, etc.). We use this personal information exclusively for the service you have requested. We treat your address confidentially. It will not be passed on to third parties.

There are links to third-party websites on the website and mobile applications. As soon as you click on these, you leave the sphere of influence of Alpio AG. Alpio AG accepts no responsibility for the content or legal aspects of third-party websites to which there is a link.

Data security

Alpio AG operates secure data networks that comply with the applicable technical standards. Appropriate technical and organisational precautions are taken to conscientiously protect your data from loss, destruction, falsification, manipulation or unauthorised access.

Although Alpio AG uses all reasonable means to prevent the disclosure of data due to errors in data transmission and/or unauthorised access by third parties, Alpio AG cannot accept any liability for such undesirable events.

Right to information

The Data Protection Act grants you the right to find out free of charge whether and what personal data Alpio AG is storing about you. You also have the right to have incorrect data corrected and deleted. This is subject to statutory retention obligations.

Requests for information must be sent to Alpio AG in writing together with proof of identity.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

These terms and conditions of use are governed by Swiss law, excluding the conflict-of-law rules of private international law (IPRG). The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
